Why Are Lullabies Universal with Giselle Whitwell, RMT, CPPI

Singing has developed and existed since time immemorial with our evolution as human beings on earth. Music in all its forms whether chant, toning or ritual songs have always expressed an important and significant moment in our lives. Unfortunately, the tradition of lullaby singing has almost disappeared from our culture. What we have lost with this practice is something to reconsider.

Singing a lullaby can create a bond of mother with her baby, but there is more that lies hidden in this interaction. It has been said that music is the medicine of the future, it is free and available to each of us through the most musical instrument, our voice.
